The Aluminum Braided Insulated Defrost Heater Wire adds stainless steel braid or aluminum braid on the basis of the original silicone heating wire, which increases the protective effect when installing and using, mainly used for defrosting of pipelines. The braided heater wire we have three kind of layer,one is alumium braided,second is stainless braied,and third is fiberglass braided,the heating wire diameter and length can be customized as require.Power is about 5-20W per meter. |

Aluminum braid defrost heater wire is made to order to a resistance, as measured in ohms per foot. This resistance value is based on the watts per foot and voltage available in your application. The amount of heat (wattage) required to prevent condensation around doors will vary according to the design of the cabinet.
For walk-in deep freezers whose ambient is 30 F to below zero, 8-12 watts per foot is commonly used. Reach-in and walk-in coolers that operate at a higher ambient temperature generally need 3-6 watts per foot.
