Product Configuration
From a practical application perspective, air unit cooler defrost heaters are highly favored due to their high efficiency and reliability. The air cooler defrost heater element not only can quickly melt frost layers and restore the normal working state of refrigeration equipment, but also effectively extend the service life of the equipment. Meanwhile, reasonable design and use of defrost heating elements can also help reduce energy consumption and improve the overall economic efficiency of the system. Therefore, in modern refrigeration technology, U-shaped defrost heater elements have become an indispensable part, providing an important guarantee for the stable operation of various refrigeration equipment.
The air cooler defrost heater heating element is essentially a metal tubular electric heating component, also known as a defrost heating tube or defrost heater element tube. It features a precise structure and powerful functionality. Specifically, this component uses a metal tube as the outer shell, with an alloy heating wire embedded inside as the heating element. To ensure the safety and stability of the heating process, the metal tube is filled with dense MgO powder as an insulating medium, which serves to fix the heating wire and provide excellent electrical insulation performance. Additionally, one or both ends of the U shaped defrost heater element are equipped with lead-out rods (wires) for connecting to the power supply, facilitating installation and use.
The air unit cooler defrost heater shape have single straight shape,A-A type (double straight tube),U shaped,L shaped (used for water tray); The length and shape of defrost heater heating lement can be customized as required. The tube diameter have 6.5mm,8.0mm and 10.7mm.

Product Function
In the commercial and industrial refrigeration field, equipment such as refrigerated air coolers and refrigerated display cabinets are widely used in food preservation, drug storage, and other scenarios that require low-temperature environments. However, during the actual operation of these refrigeration devices, frost layers often form on the surface of the evaporator. This phenomenon mainly occurs when cold and hot air exchange, and the moisture in the air condenses and gradually forms frost in the low-temperature environment.
The presence of frost has a significant impact on the performance of refrigeration equipment. Firstly, as the thickness of the frost layer increases, it gradually narrows the airflow passage, thereby reducing the air volume passing through the evaporator. When the frost layer accumulates to a certain extent, it may even completely block the evaporator, causing airflow obstruction and seriously affecting the refrigeration effect. Secondly, an overly thick frost layer also reduces the heat exchange efficiency, causing the refrigeration equipment to consume more energy to maintain the set temperature. Therefore, to ensure the normal operation and energy efficiency of the refrigeration equipment, regular defrosting is an indispensable operation.
To address this issue, many refrigeration units are equipped with dedicated defrost heating elements. Among them, the tubular defrost heater element is a common solution. This component heats the frost layer adhering to the surface of the evaporator through electric defrost heating tubes arranged inside the equipment, causing it to melt into water and be discharged, thereby achieving the purpose of defrosting.
