The evaporator defrost heater, as the core defrosting component of refrigerators and freezers, directly acts on the evaporator coil of the refrigeration core. The defrost heater is a key component for solving the problems of reduced refrigeration efficiency, compressor overload, and soaring energy consumption caused by frost and ice accumulation on the evaporator. It is widely used in evaporator defrosting systems of various refrigeration equipment such as household refrigerators, upright freezers, commercial display cabinets, and small cold storages.
The evaporator defrost heater is equipped with industrial-grade core components and features a built-in Cr20Ni80 nickel-chromium alloy heating core. The resistance is stable and does not burn the core, with a heat conversion efficiency of over 95%. It heats up quickly and heats evenly without local hotspots. While gently melting the evaporator coil and frosting, it does not damage the evaporator fins and surrounding precision components. The outer tube is made of 304 stainless steel pipe, which is resistant to pressure and corrosion, suitable for the harsh environment inside refrigerators with low temperatures and high humidity. It can work stably within a wide temperature range of -40℃ to 200℃, and is not afraid of long-term erosion by condensate water. The pipe is filled with high-density magnesium oxide powder, which has excellent insulation and heat insulation performance. It is paired with IP65 waterproof sealing technology, fully sealed connection terminals, effectively preventing water vapor from penetrating, with an insulation resistance of ≥100MΩ. It is safe to use without the risk of leakage.
According to the evaporator layout, the defrost heater is designed with straight type, U type (main model), and M type structures. The defrost heater tube diameters are Φ6.5mm/Φ8.0mm/Φ10.7mm, covering all ranges. The defrost heater element precisely matches the spacing of different specifications of evaporator fins, and can be directly fixed without modification. It is compatible with 95% of mainstream brands of refrigerators and freezers, with selectable rated voltages of 110V/220V, and can adapt to different power ratings of refrigeration equipment ranging from 50W to 300W. It is equipped with stainless steel installation clips, and can be replaced by hand without professional tools. The evaporator defrost heater has the quality of original factory replacement, a service life of ≥8000 hours, effectively restoring the refrigeration efficiency of the equipment, reducing energy consumption, and extending the service life of the entire machine.
