The refrigeration heatcraft drain pan defrost heater is one of the indispensable key components in modern refrigeration equipment and air conditioning systems, and the drain pan defrost heater is widely used in cold storage, refrigerators, unit cooler,air conditioners and other scenarios that require temperature control. Its core function lies in generating heat to melt the frost formed on the surface of the condenser, thereby ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of the refrigeration equipment.
In practical applications, the surface of the condenser in refrigeration equipment is prone to frosting due to low-temperature environments. This frost layer will impede the heat exchange efficiency, leading to a decline in equipment performance or even complete failure. To solve this problem, the refrigeration drain pan defrost heater emerged. It usually operates by electric heating: when current passes through the resistance element inside the heating tube, the resistance generates heat, causing the surface temperature of the heating tube to rise rapidly. Subsequently, this heat is transferred to the surface of the condenser through conduction, melting the frost adhering to it and restoring the normal operation of the equipment.

The refrigeration drain pan defrost heater is used for the air cooler defrosting,the defrost heater element shape have A-A type (double straight tube),U shaped,W shaped,L shaped,or other custom shapes.Tube length custom is following your air-cooler size,our all defrost heater can be customized as required. The tubular defrost heater tube diameter can be made 6.5mm or 8.0mm,the tube with lead wire part will be sealed by rubber head.And the shape can also be made U shape and L shape.Power of defrost heating tube will be produced 300-400W per meter. |
