What happens when a refrigerator defrosting heater tube breaks?

Refrigerator when defrosting system defrosting failure caused the whole refrigeration is very poor.

The following three fault symptoms may occur:

1) No defrosting at all, the whole evaporator is full of frost.

2) The defrosting of the evaporator near the defrost heating tube is normal, and the left and right sides and top of the heating tube far away are covered with frost.

3) The frost layer of the evaporator is normal, and the sink is full of ice to the bottom of the evaporator.

Specific reasons and elimination methods:

Fault 1: Check whether the defrosting load fault indicator is shining (power on the fault indicator is no longer shining). If there is no fault warning light shining, it is the defrosting information end of the fault, generally for the evaporator temperature sensor fault (resistance value is small) and its circuit short circuit, leakage. If the fault indicator lights up, the defrosting load is faulty. Generally, the defrosting heating pipe is broken or its circuit is broken. Pay special attention to whether the fit between the defrosting heater and the socket is tight.

Fault 2: When the frost layer is not completely removed, the resistance value of the defrosting temperature sensor has fallen to the degree of exit defrosting. At this time, the resistance value of the defrosting temperature sensor should be measured and compared with the R-t diagram. If the resistance value is too small, the temperature sensor should be replaced. If the resistance value is normal, replace the installation position of the temperature sensor so that it is far away from the heating tube.

Fault 3: The heating temperature of the sink is not enough during defrosting. Specific reasons:

1) The sink heater is disconnected.

2) There is a certain distance between the sink heater and the sink, so that the heat of the heater can not be well transmitted to the sink, the temperature of the sink is not high enough, and the defrosting water will ice again on the sink. Press the sink heater so that it is close to the sink.

Fault 4: The internal clock of the main control board accumulates into the defrosting time. When the power is powered off, the accumulated time of the compressor on the main control board will be cleared, and the refrigerator cannot enter the defrosting state. Fault 5: defrosting thermistor value changes. If the accumulated working time of the refrigerator has reached the time of defrosting, and the defrosting thermistor detects the temperature of the evaporator, and does not meet the defrosting conditions, the possible reason is usually the resistance value is small.
