The strip finned tubular heater is a highly efficient and widely used electric heating component. The strip finned heater's design ingeniously combines multiple material and structural features, achieving outstanding heat exchange performance. The core components of this finned tubular heater include a metal tube, electric heating wire, modified MgO powder, and external fins, each of which plays a crucial role in the overall performance.
As the basic structure of the heating element, stainless steel tubes are usually made of high-performance materials such as stainless steel. These materials not only have good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance but also maintain stable mechanical properties at high temperatures. Secondly, the electric heating wire (i.e., resistance wire) is the core for energy conversion in the heating element. It converts electrical energy into thermal energy through the resistance effect when current flows through it. To ensure insulation between the electric heating wire and the metal tube and to enhance thermal conduction efficiency, a special modified MgO powder is filled between them. This powder has high insulation performance and excellent thermal conductivity, which can ensure safety while improving heat transfer efficiency.
